Charles Barkley never seems to have this same energy when Draymond is in the studio.
Furthermore, what he is saying makes no sense at all.
Draymond is talking about an off-the-court issue. It doesn’t matter if the Warriors are in first or last place, he still have a voice and is allowed to speak.
You can agree or disagree, but their record has nothing to do with if he has the ability to talk about issues he feels strongly about.
“Draymond has to really be careful,” Barkley said on “The Bill Simmons Podcast” released on Tuesday. “All that stuff is cute when you’re winning. But when you’re in last place, it’s annoying. They (the Cleveland Cavaliers) are trying to protect their asset and they’re gonna trade [Andre Drummond]. They’re doing what’s best for them.
“I think Draymond’s got to start learning you can say what you want to when you’re the champs and you’re in first place. But when you’re in last place, you become the guy who becomes annoying.
The Warriors aren’t even in last place, so his comments make even less sense.
Sounds like hate to me.
