There’s an unbelievable amount of talk going on behind the scenes as a result of Jason Kelce joining ESPN. There was never previously a frenzy on the network like the one that broke when it revealed Jason was joining the Monday Night Countdown cast. That is, at least, what Adam Schefter reports.

In a recent podcast episode, Schefter disclosed that throughout the years, he has seen a number of well-known players join ESPN’s NFL broadcasting teams, including Ray Lewis, Steve Young, and Troy Aikman. The seasoned insider was informed by sources, nevertheless, that the excitement around Kelce’s arrival overshadowed all of them.

Jason Kelce recently retired from NFL

Regarding the situation at ESPN when Jason Kelce was presented, Schefter restated the information provided by the source. Schefter said,

ESPN’s hired a lot of great, talented former athletes and broadcasters, but they said to me that they’ve never seen more of a commotion around one particular individual than what was surrounding Jason Kelce.” “Couldn’t even remember more stuff, more of a circus around one guy,”

Can Jason Kelce’s honesty land him in trouble?

It makes sense why the former center for the Eagles has caused such a stir. With the possible exception of Dallas and New York, fans all around the NFL adore him, making him maybe the most universally beloved figure the game has created in recent memory. Furthermore, Jason Kelce is a natural for the spotlight due to his straightforward demeanor and sincerity.

And Kelce shared a thought-provoking revelation with the audience. Fans may be salivating at the prospect of seeing him publicly humiliate his brother Travis Kelce in a cruel manner. It was exactly this self-aware showmanship that ESPN sought.

There is a great deal of expectation that Jason Kelce will instantly boost Monday Night Countdown’s ratings and viewership.
