One of the league’s hardest workers, Stephen Curry has established a reputation for himself. The Warriors star puts a lot of effort into maintaining his physical fitness in order to benefit both his team and himself. But sometimes, injuries happen regardless of how hard you try to take care of yourself.
A similar incident occurred earlier today when Steph returned to the locker room after leaving the Warriors bench during the first half. Rick Celibrini, the Warriors’ director of performance and sports medicine, was with him. Fans were alarmed to see Steph and Rick go.
Steph Curry jammed his finger late in the first half and left for the locker room. Didn’t return for the second half, but it doesn’t sound like an issue. He’s back in the weight room currently going through his normal postgame workout routine, per Warriors.

In a similar account, Anthony Slater detailed how Steph jammed his finger but continued with his postgame exercise. Slater later revealed that the team had performed an X-ray on him following the game, and the results were negative.
Steph Curry: Right index finger jammed. X-rays negative, per Warriors. Day-to-day.

Given the fierce rivalry in the West, the Warriors would need Stephen Curry to be fit and ready right away. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like a significant injury.
