Tyler Reddick Responds to Michael Jordan Touching His Son at the NASCAR Race

Tyler Reddick, a NASCAR driver, has spoken out about the online response to Michael Jordan‘s celebration with his six-year-old kid after the Daytona 500 victory.

Beau Reddick’s T-shirt seemed moist on Sunday, February 15, and the basketball icon, who co-owns 23XI Racing, was observed repeatedly pinching the back of it. Despite considerable criticism on social media, Jordan then lightly scrapes his fingers against the boy’s back legs.

“There was nothing in it,” Reddick stated after he and Jordan won “The Great American Race” in Florida. He said:

“From my perspective, I’ve gotten to know Michael and his family very well over the years I’ve been here with 23XI, and I don’t see what other people see when it comes to this,”

“For me, it’s a huge moment; this is the biggest moment of my career. It’s a huge moment for my family and for his family.

“And I just put that off to the side and think about the look on (Michael Jordan’s wife) Yvette’s face and the whole family and his whole group when they got to victory lane too, and just how happy everybody was celebrating together.

“So, that’s where I’m at with it.”

In fact, Jordan and Reddick have a long family history. Jordan spent decades with MLB pitcher Jose DeLeon, Reddick’s father-in-law.
