Although he didn’t appear particularly receptive to the idea, Donald Trump didn’t entirely rule out the possibility of pardoning Diddy. During his interview with Rob Finnerty on his show “Finnerty,” which aired on Newsmax on Friday, 47 got into a heated discussion over Diddy.
Diddy was recently found guilty on two charges of the Mann Act, which involves transporting someone across state borders for prostitution. Finnerty asked Trump if he would pardon Diddy. Diddy was cleared of the more serious allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering during his federal trial.
Finnerty’s question prompted Trump to respond that he was “very friendly” with Diddy at one point and “got along with him great, and he seemed like a nice guy.”
Trump then made a completely different claim, claiming that he didn’t know Diddy very well and that Diddy was “very hostile” to him during his campaign. Given Diddy’s contradictory statements, he appeared to be torn, acknowledging that the animosity would impair “our judgment.”
Diddy is going to have to go full MAGA and pay some money to Trump if he wants that pardon.
