Jalen Brunson showed up at his pal Fat Joe’s star-studded birthday party this weekend for the ultimate surprise, despite a little jet lag.
The NBA champion attended teammate Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods’ wedding in Malibu on Saturday, marking his first visit to the Los Angeles region since last week.
However, JB refused to let a few thousand miles prevent him from attending his friend’s birthday, so on Sunday he boarded a plane and traveled back east. By the evening, Jalen was having a great time at Radio Park, which is located atop Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.
A number of well-known figures from the music and sports industries, including DJ Khaled and Allen Iverson, were there as the rap legend celebrated his 56th orbit around the sun.
Among the other celebrities who joined Joe in celebrating were Teyana Taylor, Yung Miami, Mary J. Blige, Jadakiss, N.O.R.E., Raekwon, Fabolous, Remy Ma, Rick Brunson, and DJ Envy.
Dessert was very memorable. A personalized cake with a Knicks motif and the skyline of New York City was given to Joe.
